The sun rose in the sky, a symbol of the journey I was about to embark on. I was determined to get my body into great shape for backpacking with a baby. After all, I had to be able to keep up with them and provide for them during our excursions!

Then, I began body weight training to build strength and endurance. Through this, I was able to gain more flexibility while also increasing muscular strength.
By gradually increasing the intensity of my workouts, I could better prepare myself physically and mentally for the upcoming adventure.

Nutrition is also key for optimal energy and recovery when embarking on this type of physical activity.
