Relaxing By The Lake

Big Bay State Park is situated on the shore of Lake Superior, offering visitors a tranquil and peaceful setting to enjoy some time outdoors. With over 10,000 acres of land to explore, it’s no wonder the park saw over 80,000 visitors in 2019 alone!

The lake is an ideal spot for relaxation and recreation. On a calm summer day, I love to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters before settling down on the beach for a picnic lunch.

Afterwards, I can spend hours tasting s’mores or stargazing night skies with friends around the campfire. There’s something special about being able to disconnect from technology and connect with nature here at Big Bay State Park.
